Smart Holiday is a startup for short-term / tourist guests. The idea of the business is to manage apartments on Airbnb for people who go on vacation or travel. That means somebody who goes travelling can subscribe to their website, and they will rent out the apartment for them on Airbnb. The person who goes travelling can earn some extra cash, and the apartment will be professionally managed by them.
As their business refers strongly to the Airbnb clientele, it is important that they can build on the same easy-going lifestyle. The look has to be cool, easy, and related to travelling and good times.
Their goal is to attract young, urban, city people between 20-30 years of age who travel a lot, are very open-minded, and cool. Our goal was to create a logo that would reflect their vision and mission; thus, we created a simple mark, which is a combination of a travel bag and a map pin icon.
